There are many different churches and denominations and we don’t all agree on everything. However, there are certain doctrines that unite us. The Apostles’ Creed is the most well-known summary statement of what orthodox Christians hold to be true. It reminds us of central points about which all Christians must agree, serves as a defence against heresies or false teachings, summarizes the faith, and provides an important resource for either private or corporate worship.
I believe
What we believe is more important than what we know. Many people will miss heaven by 18-inches.
In God the Father
God is both POWERFUL and PERSONAL. I am created by the Almighty God and I am known by the Almighty God.
In Jesus Christ His Son
Who do you say Jesus is? Everyone has an opinion, but you need to make up your own mind about who He is.
In the Cross
Jesus did some pretty cool miracles while on this earth, and He taught some profound lessons. But the cross is where He did He’s work for all mankind.
In the Resurrection
The Resurrection is what defines Christianity. It wasn’t just an event, it was THE event that launched a movement.
In the Second Coming
Jesus promised that He will return. How prepared are you for that day when He appears?
In the Holy Spirit
Before He left, Jesus promised to send us a Helper. Who is the Holy Spirit and what does He do?
In the Church
We belong to this amazing world-wide movement that started with a statement and is being built daily by Jesus Himself.
In Forgiveness of Sins
When we fall, we could either walk around with guilt and allow that guilt to erode our souls away, or we can turn to Jesus who offers us forgiveness of ALL sin.
In Eternity
Misplaced hope always ends in disappointment. Placing our hope in what this world offers will always lead to disappointment, because death always steals hope. But for those who are in Christ, death is not the end…
