Our Staff

Chris Wood

Pastor

Chris join SBC as pastor in November 2023. He loves Jesus, good books, good music and good food. He is married to Bernice and they have two adult children.

Elaine de Goede

Church Administrator

Elaine has served as our administrator since 2018. She has super powers in any admin related task and loves to serve others. She oversees our Care Ministry where we distribute food parcels and clothes to people in need.

Our Elders

Prof. Rob Barrie

Rob is a Dental professor at UWC and has been attending SBC for more than 30 years. Rob is passionate about authentic Biblical teaching and is a gifted small group leader.

Dr. Sias Mostert

Sias currently serves as the Chairmans for the SCS Aerospace Group. He is also involved in Stellenbosch Community with the Voortrekkers and with E’Bosch. Sias is passionate about serving our community and equipping individuals to be disciple-makers.
